La Bolera en Segovia

    LA BOLERA

The weather changed. We awoke to hail in the city and snow on the mountains.
What better day could there be to go bowling!

Today's guest bloggers are Preston Smith and Serena Murison.

Yesterday (Sunday), everyone spent time with his or her family in the morning.  This day was the first time we were able to sleep in late all week.  After a big Sunday lunch in the afternoon, we decided to go bowling.  The place was American-themed and called “Bowling Segovia”.  Inside the alley, there was an American restaurant with a lot of our favorites like hamburgers and fries.  A lot of people ordered French fries, and some ordered bacon-ranch cheese fries.  We had three lanes – one had bumpers for those that were less confident in their bowling abilities. It was comforting to see the locals play with bumpers. After two games, we passed by a movie theater on the way to the bus. We are planning to see a movie within the next few weeks – possibly The Avengers or The Hunger Games (called “Los Juegos de Hambre” in Spanish). In the end, we took the bus back to the aqueduct.  A fun day!

Here is a short video of Nicole showing us her awesome bowling technique:

We don't know this little girl but she was cute.

  5. I am with jackson on that one, just a rough day. I almost forgot how much fun bowling was, and with the fact that I got to do it in Spain made it that much better!! Those Ranch french fries were amazing though
